I am SOOO EXCITED! I love October for many reasons, the cooler (but not cold) weather, falling leaves with pretty colors, festivals, halloween events and I get to celebrate by birthday all month long! Yes, each year I start celebrating at the beginning of the month checking my emails, looking for my coupons in the mail, waiting to use my point to take advantage of all of the food and merchandise freebies that retailers give you to celebrate your special day (or month). There are a lot of lists on the web that will show you where you can get your freebies, unfortunately some of these places are not in the Louisville Market. I wanted to make sure that you are "in the know" of all of the places that I go (or take my kids) during a month long birthday celebration. I generally have been able to receive between $150- $200 worth of FREE food, goods and services each October and get about $50-$100 worth of FREEBIES during the birthday months of my boys. Most of these will required you to sign up for their e-newsletters and promotions but you can manage these emails fairly easily, but if it becomes a burden, just opt out. I wanted to share my personal favorites and my kids favorite FREEBIES!!!

- AMC Theaters: Join the FREE Stubs Insider Rewards and received a FREE popcorn on your birthday plus other additional upgrades and promotions for being a member.
- Aveda: Become a Pure Privilege Member (a 1 time $10 fee) and receive a $23 gift for your birthday as well as free samples throughout the year. This is one of my favorites! I have received over $65 in samples and full sized gifts each year! Plus if you save your points from your purchased you can get additional FREEBIES – including spa treatments and event trip! Well worth joining!
- bareMinerals: Join the Friends and Benefits Program, and they’ll send you a gift on your birthday.
- Barnes and Noble (Kids): Sign up for the B&N Kids’ Club, and your child gets a free cupcake on his/her birthday.
- Bob Evan’s: Sign them up for the kid’s birthday club and your child will receive a FREE kid’s meal on their birthday
- Chuck-E-Cheese - This is a kid favorite in our household at the moment. Join their Chuck E Club and receive FREE gift on your child’s birthday!
- DSW: Join the DSW rewards and received a gift on your birthday with other great perks throughout the year.
- Famous Footwear: Join the Gold Rewards program and receive a $10 gift for your birthday!
- Firehouse Subs: Sign up for Firehouse Rewards for a free medium sub.
- GiGi’s Cupcakes – Cupcake Lovers Rewards is free to join and you get a FREE cupcake for your birthday!
- Great American Cookies: Join the Cookie Club, and get a birthday surprise.
- Hard Rock: Sign up for Hard Rock Rewards for an annual birthday offer.
- Hooters: Join the Hooters E-club for a free birthday gift.
- IHOP: Sign up for the Pancake Revolution, and receive a free meal on your birthday.
- Jason’s Deli – Sign up for their Birthday Club and receive $5 certificate emailed to you for your birthday!
- Jellystone Camps & Resorts: Jellystone Campgrounds and resorts have 79 locations. When you join the Club Yogi rewards your child ages 14 years old and younger, receives a FREE gift at the Jellystone Park Store at your next visit to the park. Just bring the mailer or email to the store.
- Joe’s Crab Shack: Register with Joe’s Catch, and receive a birthday treat.
- Nothing Bundt Cake – For those 13 years and older join their email club and received a FREE bundtlet cake on your birthday!
- P.F. Chang’s: Create a PF Chang’s Preferred account, and get a free appetizer or dessert during your birthday month.

- Sephora: The Beauty Insider rewards program is one of my favorites because my FREE gifts have not disappointed me.
- Smashbox: Register for the rewards program, and receive a free gift during your birthday month.
- Texas Roadhouse: Join their email club to receive birthday gifts for you and your kids 12 and under!
- Ulta Beauty Rewards: Sign up for their Ultamate Rewards and receive a FREE gift? Make sure you enter your birthday!
- Victoria Secret: Sign up for the Angel card and get a gift for your birthday!
- White House Black Market: WHBM Rewards free to join and when you reach silver member status or higher you receive a minimum of $10 for your birthday. Each year, I am usually able to get a great layering tee or tank for a few dollars, or if it is on sale… FREE! If you manage to reach a higher member status, your birthday reward is more!
- World Market: Join their Explorers Rewards program and receive a surprise gift on your birthday!
- Zaxby’s: Get a free Nibbler on your birthday by signing up for the Zax Club.
- Zeggz: Join Zeggz Rewardz program for FREE and receive special offers, birthday gift, and FREE entrees.
