Rock Group Harry and The Potter's National Tour

June 29th at the Main Library

June 17, 2019

Imagine if Harry Potter quit the quidditch team and started a punk rock band.  That’s how the “wizard rock” band Harry and the Potters describe themselves. Launched in 2002, Harry and the Potters have performed in more than 800 libraries, bookstores, rock clubs, and theaters in the U.S. and Europe. This year they will release Lumos, their first full-length album in 13 years, and tour libraries across the U.S. – including the Louisville Free Public Library!

Join brothers Joe and Paul DeGeorge, aka Harry and the Potters, for this all-ages concert featuring original songs based on Harry Potter characters and events, on Saturday, June 29, at the Main Library (301 York Street). Doors open at 6 p.m. and the music starts at 7 p.m. The free concert is part of LFPL’s Summer Reading Program, presented by the Library Foundation, and is a Halfway-to-Potterpalooza event.  For more information on Summer Reading or the concert, visit us online at LFPL.org or call (502) 574-1620.
