We provide Mentoring Services, offer beekeeping classes and host both the Louisville Spring Bee School and the Louisville Fall Bee School. How did HoneyBear Farms get started? Joel and Ruth Gonia's kids wanted bees - We thought they were crazy and would come up with new and innovative reasons to tell our kids we "cannot and will not raise bees!". Then, we began to consider the possibilities, and now they raise bees to produce honey, sell bees and equipment. The mission and passion is to promote public awareness of honey bees, educate potential beekeepsers, and provide beekeeping assistance to those less fortunate.
At the Honey Depot we provide a number of services, classes, tours and bee themed merchandise and gifts.
